Happy Monday All! Hope you all had a great weekend, and are reading to have a great week. This was another slow week for me as far as reading goes. I think today is the first day where things will settle down for me and I can get back to reading. I was able to get a few galleys completed since they were on my Kindle which I carry with me always.
Glass Slippers, Ever After, and Me – Cute book about a young woman aspiring to be an author. She finally gets her book published and is in the relationship with a man she loves, but sometimes those things just don’t jive. This was fun for the most part for me. It is labeled as romance it seems less romance and more a book about self discovery. Publication Date 10/21/2019
Get A Life, Chloe Brown – I know I will against the norm here, but I hated this book. I thought the premise was going to be a good romance with a character dealing with a chronic illness. However, I thought it was absolutely crude how the author used this in this open door romance. I could not get over that the author chose to write it this way. This was a huge miss for me. The Family Upstairs – As a Lisa Jewell fan, was super excited for this book. As per usual, this was a thrillerly book. This one involving a woman who finds out she inherits a house that belonged to her dead parents. This quickly turns in a psychological thriller that surrounds three POV’s. This was not my favorite Jewell book, but that’s still better than most books of this genre. Publication Date 11/5/2019
Tell me what you read this week,
